With Western Suburbs taking on Parramatta this weekend in the NSW Cup, we take a look back at 1981 when the Eels travelled to Lidcombe Oval
Captained by Alan Neil, the Wests team that day was Garry Dowling, John Ribot, Ross Conlon, Mark Beaven, Ian Schubert, Terry Lamb, Alan Neil, Jim Leis, George Moroko, Bob Cooper, terry Leabeater, Jack Jeffries and Paul Merlo. Tom Arber came on as a replacement.
